AND ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE
The course will cover general coaching methods plus special sections on health and safety, child protection, children in karate, insurance, and risk assessment, all of which are relevant to the dojo. There will be a short written exam and where applicable some practical demonstration of competence may be required. Remember each coaching award lasts 2 years. You need it for your instructors insurance to show you are competent, and most Sports Centres, Government buildings etc are now asking for them. So it is in the interests of all Instructors or potential Instructors to attend, and obtain this qualification.
