Trip to Vancouver B.C Canada 2017
On the last 2 weeks of May Sensei Derek Ridgway visited Vancouver, Canada to teach for Sensei Mike Scales (chief instructor for Kazoku Kai Canada). As well as teaching at Mikes dojo in Coquitlam Vancouver, Sensei Ridgway visited many other dojos around B.C. (a list of which is below)
A great time was had by all and the training went really well, with all dojos really enjoying the training from Sensei Ridgway. As you can see Sensei Ridgway travelled all around the Vancouver district, along with seminars on Vancouver Island and at Hope in the Rockies.

A word from Sensei Ridgway
I would like to say a big thanks to all the above Sensei and their students. I had a great time teaching you all and wherever I went I was looked after really well. I can’t wait to be back next year to see you all and teach you some of my Karate.
As ever a big thanks goes to Mike and Liz Scales they looked after me so well and always make me feel so welcome. So cheers to them, I love them both like family (Kazoku) and look forward to seeing them again soon.
