On Saturday and Sunday 7th-8th May Kazoku Kai held its annual weekend residential at Pontesbury near Shrewsbury. Students travelled from all over the UK to attend the course now in its 40th year.

Everyone had a great weekend which included on Saturday. Fundamentals kata namely, Sanchin and Naihanchin. Plus rolling bunkai of Pinan Yondan. On Sunday guest instructor Tony Holt 6th Dan taught Higoanna Seisan. Chief instructor Sensei Derek Ridgway would like to thank all who attended and a special thanks to his wife Lori Ridgway who cooked the food and served it to the hungry students.
