Our contact in Venezuela is Sensei Argenis Joel Lopez, 5th Dan. Sensei Joel founded the Kenkido Association in 1999. He trains Motubo-Ha Shito-Ryu, but also within his association there are groups who train Shotokan, Goju-Ryu, Kempo and Judo. Sensei Joel Lopez chief instructor for Kazoku Kai in Venezuela who trains the police state karate team took his squad to the National police sport games and the team came away with 1 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals. well done to them all.
Also recently 19 students passed their kyu grade exams which were attended by the deputy of national assembly Ms Maria Bravo and the sport coordinator, policeman Mr Daybi Meza
